Games and Stress in Students

My paper, titled "The Role of Game-Playing and Coping Styles in Mitigating Stress Among Students," was conducted under the mentorship of Dr. Carolyn Bradford Funk and has been accepted by the Whitman Journal of Psychology. This university-level research involved a survey of 34 questions administered to 139 college students to examine the impact of games on academic stress. Using diagnostic tools such as the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS) and Brief-COPE, the study investigated the relationship between the types of games students play, their coping mechanisms, and their overall stress levels.
